Hydrowick Servicing

Hydrowick Service

When a club has invested a considerable sum of money into an efficient drainage system for their greens, it is sensible to service the system to ensure it continues to operate effectively into the future.

Sports turf drainage systems are rarely maintained or cleaned and therefore effective rates of drainage can slow down overtime. This is why DJUKE are pleased to now offer Hydrowick Service Inspections, to ensure the original system is intact, cleaned and ready for many more years of service.

Outfall drains associated with the Hydrowick Drainage system can overtime become damaged or blocked by associated works, such as new irrigation installations, bunker installations or other drainage works carried out post Hydrowick installation. Outfall drains can also silt up overtime or become blocked with grass or tree roots.

For optimal results, we recommend this inspection be done annually or bi-annually.

Hydrowick Service Inspection includes

Inspection of all outfall drainage pipework with a purpose-built drainage outlet camera system

Rod / Jet and or clean all outfall pipework with our high pressure Jetter as appropriate

Check outlets to verify all working correctly

Add / repair flush points where / if required

Log and record instances of blockage / damage and recommended repair

Two service engineers complete with appropriate transport / inspection camera and mobile Jetter and parts

Customer Testimonials

Installing the HYDROWICK drainage system into to all our greens has transformed their performance. Greens we couldn’t cut are now the first greens we cut after heavy rainfall. Installing the system whilst keeping the course open for play shouldn’t be underestimated. This has been a huge achievement and benefit for our business.

Amazing effort to get this project finished ahead of schedule, on budget and most importantly with outstanding quality. 28 greens completed with HYDROWICK, Cameron and his team are the best at what they do, if you need greens drainage get in touch with them!

At Beaconsfield GC we pride ourselves on the condition of the greens. As we strived for 12-month playability we required a drainage system that could manage the ever-changing climate. We wanted a product that could cope with the wettest of days but on the other hand not affect moisture levels during the hotter months. A method which wouldn’t over dry surfaces, up irrigation requirements and increase the demand on precious man hours. 6 years on and 18 greens completed, HYDROWICK drainage was 100% the best decision we made.

We had two greens drained last March and the difference is amazing.

They were the wettest greens on the course with floating turf, puddling after as little as 4mm of rain, bare areas where they would sit wet. We could not even get a hand cut on them during the winter and they would spend most of the time as on temps. Now they're cut all year round, not temps, the sward has increased. No more floating turf and no more puddling! In my opinion, HYDROWICK is a must for wet, clay, push up greens.
