Djuke is pleased to announce the appointment of Schetelig Oy as the official Hydrowick installer for Finland, marking an exciting step in the company’s expansion. With over 95 years of experience in the horticulture, landscaping and golf sector, the team at Schetelig are well placed to support customers across the Nordic region with the innovative Hydrowick drainage technology.

Hydrowick’s patented system has revolutionised golf course water management, improving playability, consistency and turf health in the face of evermore adverse weather conditions. With Schetelig now offering Hydrowick as part of its complete course care solution, Finnish golf courses can access this advanced and sustainable technology to significantly improve the speed and effectiveness of greens drainage.

Hydrowick drainage uses both a gravity and capillary action to quickly remove surface moisture and heavy rainfall. Its patented design ‘wicks’ moisture and passes it through a stainless core to channel water away from the areas of play. The installation is less invasive than most other systems, resulting in long-lasting benefits to both drainage and plant health – something soon to be discovered at Kytäjä Golf, Schetelig’s first Hydrowick install.
